John 8:32

32        And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 10:10

10        The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I read the greatest analogy the other day in this book called, “Escape from Cubicle Nation”.  (The book is about transitioning from a corporate plantation mindset to an entrepreneurial mindset.)

The writer said, “Working for Corporate America is like a lion living in a zoo.  It’s safe, there are no hunters and the food is guaranteed but it’s not what the lion was designed for.  The lion was created for the wild, to be the King of the Jungle.  Byproducts of being the King of the Jungle are risks, dangers and possibly even death.  Danger or no danger, such is the life of a lion.  You were not created for the zoo…you were created to conquer the jungle which is entrepreneurship like the Lion conquers the jungle.”

While the writer was writing narrowly about entreprenuership, this analogy has larger implications.  The truth of God will free you from the cages that society, friends and family have set for you.

All things are possible in Christ Jesus!

There are no limitations!!!

Christ has the key to your cage.

You just have to have the faith to walk into the Wild!!!

The first step though is me telling you….that the Zoo is not your home!
