The most powerful action in the universe is forgiveness.

When we are forgiven by other humans, it reminds us of our Father's forgiveness thru Christ.

When we forgive others, we lay our own burdens down of hate, discontent and anger.

The Greek Word in the Bible for forgive is "aphiemi".  It means to abandon, to let go, to forget or to forsake.  So when people say, "I will forgive but I won't forget"…often time they haven't really forgiven.

Does God expect you to develop amnesia…no, but the question is are you telling yourself that you have forgiven while carrying around all of the garbage?

Let's become more powerful than that!!!!
