Wed Devotional The Workplace

Ephesians 6:5-8

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

KJV

Colossians 3:22-25

22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

KJV

The boss can’t stand you?

OKAY!!!

The boss doesn’t appreciate your work?

ALRIGHT!!!

We shouldn’t be working for our bosses anyway.  We should be working to the GLORY OF GOD!!!

When we operate at a level where we want to please God, we will supercede the standards of the earthly supervisors.

We should be OVERJOYED to be EMPLOYED!

You are stuck at your job for 40 hours a week or longer.  Let’s make the most of it.  Let’s make a difference.

Even if we are being persecuted, we can make an example thru our suffering!!!

With God and faith, all things are possible.

Let’s be good witnesses.

Let’s transform the workplace and reach those who the Lord has positioned for us.

I have a challenge for you.

Look around you.

Who needs encouragement on your job?

Who needs salvation on your job?

Who needs a great listener on your job?

They are more likely to notice your light while your working hard and acting Godly.

Let’s Do It!!!

Pray for me in my Babylon!!!
